BenefitFocus.com is an insurance services software company experiencing tremendous growth. In order to make their organization scalable, BenefitFocus has embraced the concept of Business Process Management. Modus21 is helping BenefitFocus.com implement Business Process Management within their organization. This includes consulting with them on the strategies, techniques, and technology. We helped them implement the Metastorm BPM platform as the core BPM platform, and performing integration to BizTalk 2006, a custom data warehouse, and other internal systems to assist them in streamlining processes internal to their organization.

The Benefitfocus Group Implementation Project focuses on streamlining the process by which Benefitfocus implements or brings on a new group or client, specifically for the eEnrollment product. Today, this process is managed by numerous teams across multiple systems and involves a myriad of manual process steps and handoffs leading to inefficiencies across the organization. Goals for the project include the development of a new repeatable, single process that is highly scalable and similar across business units resulting in improved efficiency for human workflow, self-service for changes to process flow, automation using CRM and Metastorm and uniformity of process.
